We love being your friend and playing ping-pong with ideas because we love to spread the joy of origami; that is what clubs and meetings are about. We host and organize these. Find your perfect club!
FUN Origami Club
By zoom, join the Fantastic Unfolded Network… the FUN Origami Club! Create fun origami! Fold. Make boxes, toys, animals, holiday gifts, mobiles, and even fold with balloons!
Time and Date: Previously via the Zoom at 1pm on the first Sunday on the month, EST.
Origami Club History: Our first meeting was over zoom on July 7, 2020. We have met monthly ever since then. The origami club was funded by the Maynard Cultural Council to have four monthly in-person meeting on 6/11, 7/9, 8/13, 9/10/2022, highlights are on the Origami Club detail flyer. This brought new faces. Then, then FUN Origami Club resumed online until March 5, 2023.
Lisa’s dear friend Wensdy Whitehead was terminally so the club halted. Wensdy’s Origami centered virtual memorial was held on November 11, 2023. Wensdy’s life legacy holds Lisa focus. Lisa published Wensdy’s origami portfolio book.
Lisa volunteered at Felixology, a bookstore dedicated to the owner’s son, a man who passed of Mesothelioma, 29, an enchanted soul who loved origami. Lisa’s apprenticeship ran from July 20, 2025 to August 11, 2026, at at Felixology the FUN Origami runs, merging with the owner’s son, Felix’s dream. The club continues to live on at Felixology.
